Feeling excited, back to school!
Yes, i did feel excited going to school before the school actually starts
but i need to clarify that i do not feel that way anymore
after the 3 month long holiday, one gets bored and when something that has not been done for quite some time, excites you
yes, even if it is attending classes
i seriously do not know how to describe the excitement me and chow once had during the weekend before school started on monday
i saw her looking at the new stationery she bought from home, admiring each of them, showing me happily
‘ this highlighter is new one! this eraser also!’
‘ the eraser im using is since form 6 one. look at the sticker? i used my friend’s one to stick on it. this magnetic pen also. see got sticker. ‘
(chow searching through my pile of stationery with interest)
‘this one got sticker also. meaning all these from form 6? wah…eh, but dirty leh’
‘ yealor. very long adi. i think i should wipe them clean before putting them into my pencil box( i dunno what to call it besides pencil box.=P)
(chow examining her pile of stationery.)
‘i think i should wipe mine also.’
‘ok!lets wipe together!’
(while we were busy wiping each and every pen, a thought suddenly struck me)
‘ hey, i think we need wash our pencil box too!’
(chow looking at her own pencil box)
‘yes. i agree. mine also dirty liao.’
we hang both pencil box near the window waiting for it to dry.
feeling contented and happy, i asked :
‘ so what are you going to wear on Monday for school?’
‘ yea yea. i was thinking of that too. what are you going to wear?’
the situation illustrated above was 3 weeks ago.
now, it is week 3 of the semester.
the excitement just went ‘ pssstt….’, like the air coming out from a shrinking balloon.
