Sometimes it is not about the amount of effort you put in

so far, i am happy with the lecturers for my semester
despite the diversified accent that i am getting, they are nice people
however, one thing still bothers me
one of my econs electives lecturer told us in the class
‘ i have no experience in this course. my first time teaching and i am FORCED to do this. i don’t really know much about Southeast Asia economics so do bear with me. ill try to read up the book and figure it out first before you do. ‘
‘ wah. so not reassuring! ‘ (Yes, i agree. especially on the first day of the class)
some of my course mates even thought of dropping the module.
‘ since he does not know much, probably he will set easy questions rite?’
‘ since he does not know much, probably he will not even know how to set questions!!!’
