Worst encounter with THAT bus company
Thinking that taking the night bus back to Ipoh is more dangerous than taking the day bus?
not at all.
most people travel during the night, probably because by the time they wake up in the morning, they will be in Singapore already.
so meaning, less people travelling during the day rite?
During my last trip back to Ipoh, it was the worst trip ever!
when it was time to get on the bus and you still do not see any passengers doing so
it is a bad sign, really.
adding on to your fear, the bus uncle approached you and asked ‘ Girl, how much did you pay for your ticket?’
(don’t you think it is rare when bus uncle asking you weird questions like that?)
‘ err…i don’t know. my parents bought it for me ‘
‘haha..good for you. your ticket is going to worth every penny of it. because…you are the only passenger on the bus today!!’
(BODY FROZEN)
i asked with a trembled voice ‘ huh? what do you mean? ‘
‘meaning we are only driving you back to Ipoh lar. where do you stay in Ipoh? i can fetch you home. ‘
so many things ran through my mind at the moment and i did not know how to react.
two men bus driver and you alone in the bus for an 8-hour bus journey strike red lights to me
immediately, i called my dad to inform him of the shocking news.
my dad went to the bus company straight away to verify it.
back to my part, the bus driver was waiting for my answer for the location of my house.
ok. probably not the best thing to do but i lied that i stay in Ipoh Garden while i actually stay in Bercham.
i can’t tell a stranger where i live before knowing what exactly he is trying to do rite?
‘ oh, you stayed at Ipoh Garden? i stay in Bercham. ‘ said the bus uncle.
ohmygosh! imagine what could have happened if i were to tell the truth i am staying in Bercham.
so, to cut the story short. after my dad had verified the issue with the bus company, confirming that the uncle is a realible worker in the company and if he were to do anything to me, they know where he lives and we can track him down …blah blah blah…
i would say it’s stupid.
so meaning, you people would go hunt him down after whatsoever bad things he might do to me. and to take note, there were 2 of them!
i cursed and swore the company all the way back home.
i was scared and worried that i could not close my eyes to rest that i decided to read.
that was how i finished Cecelia Ahern’s PS I Love You and cried throughout the whole journey, not because of the fear but because of the touching love story.
P/S: if the bus drivers were to hear me crying, they probably would think i am scared to death.
