Working like robots

it seems this semester
compared to the last 2 previous semesters
i seldom use my EZ-link card
there is no need to top it up so often as i don go out much nowadays
feel like buying some fruits this week
feel like goin to NTUC for some groceries shopping
feel like goin out to breathe in some fresh air instead of the same old ’stressful air’ i am breathing everyday in NUS

‘lets go out for groceries shopping this week!!! *with damn enthu tone*
GLARED. STARED. *thinking that, ‘are you out of your mind?’ *
‘ ok. i better keep quiet….’

‘ whatz for dinner tonight?’
‘wat else?? food court lor..’
‘ no arr. can go georgies, foodcourt, K gourmet cafe, the pond behind ‘
‘ THE POND?’
‘ yea. chow chow vegetarian mar…eat those plants down the pond lar..’
‘…..’
‘ oh oh oh !!!!! one more choice!! it is wednesday!! go double O for dinner!!! *damn enthu AGAIN*
‘ ……. YOU SIAO ARR??!! go yourself! ‘
‘ HUH??!!! i said go double O , you called me siao?? ask me go MYSELF?? ‘
‘yealar…u so free arr?? no need to study arr?’
‘ *gulps* am i reading what i am reading now??? YOU WOR??!!! GOD!! what have NUS turn you into??!!! yerrr…so NERDY!!!’

see?? what have NUS turn us into?? one who has once been wanting to go out most of the time, shopping, clubbing…now calling the damn enthu one siao for having the slightest thought of going out?? this is certainly not rite.
therefore, do your beloved ones a favour. Do not ask them to come to THIS place. it will do them good. TRUST ME.

i am falling sick. having a little sore throat. right after my exam. shall be thankful or wat??
dunno whether it is due to the haze or not

it is already almost the end of semester
finals coming soon
later, you will start getting emails that YIH study room and PGP reading rooms opening for 24 hours
not a good sign, serious
and yet, asking myself. so how was my semester been so far?
i could not recall anything but attending lectures, tutorials everyday
meeting deadlines, project meetings,…….
gosh! we are turning into robots, doing exactly the same thing every semester
and when you finally graduate from NUS, you have successfully transform into one
